Amy Peters

Amy is the owner of Village Pilates. She began teaching dance and aerobics when she was 14 years old and has always loved moving her body. A dance injury introduced her to Pilates. After art college, she delved deeper into the Pilates method and became obsessed. She jumped into a classical certification and has continued to learn as much as she can from as many different instructors and branches of Pilates that she can find. She now has over 25 years of teaching experience . The studio is her pride and joy. She was among the first to introduce TRX Suspension Training, HIIT , Barre and Pilates Circuit. She strives to stay on the cutting edge of fitness, with Pilates being the foundation of it all. An auto-immune diagnosis 10 years ago only reaffirmed how important it is to her to stay strong in body and mind.  Her absolute favorite part of owning a studio is to see her clients achieve their fitness goals . Seeing them become stronger and more confident is truly rewarding. The sense of community and support at the studio is unique and makes her feel like a proud momma.The studio is a safe place for people of all ages, shapes and degrees of fitness to come together and celebrate the joy of movement.  Sharing her passion has been a life long dream come true.



Francesca Meccariello

Francesca is a highly successful, dedicated fitness professional with over 20 years in the industry. An overuse injury from running is one of the things that inspired her to change her own fitness routine and ultimately become a fitness/wellness pro. She came to us 7 years ago from NYC where she taught signature group fitness classes at Equinox Fitness Clubs for 12 years. She has extensive experience working one on one with clients of all walks of life and fitness levels. She has worked with stay at home moms, seniors, pre/post natal women, corporate executives, celebrities and more. Francesca incorporates balance, strength, cardio, flexibility energy and fun into each program she designs. She is enthusiastic and comforting. Francesca holds a degree in communications from FIU along with certifications from NASM as a certified personal trainer, ACE group fitness instructor, TRX Functional Training Specialist, She completed the CHEK Institute Holistic Lifestyle Coach Level 2, Pre/Post Natal courses  and is very excited to add Pilates to her repertoire! She loves functional strength training, HIIT workouts, TRX and is convinced that Pilates is an excellent complement to any other fitness regimen. Pilates helps her personally stay strong, flexible, challenged and injury free. Francesca's mission is to inspire and help every client realize their own potential and individual greatness and strength from the inside out. She believes laughter is truly the best medicine and is enjoying her new life in Florida.
